Scenes From Week Two

So...time flies when all you do is eat and sleep. It does NOT fly when you suddenly have less time to eat and sleep yourself! Here is a quick update from Braganza Ave:

Erik: Is working all day and hanging out with the girls at night. Allie never thought she'd be so thrilled with his love for the History Channel and the video game Civilization Four...but Elle Summer "helps him" with the game and "learns" from the History Channel in daddy's arms for hours at a time, so Allie has had a sudden change of heart about these two pasttimes!

Allie: Is adjusting from the SYSCO life to the newborn life. SYSCO customers were good training for the new life though, with their calls in the middle of the night, constant need for food NOW, and occasional cries and tantrums. But she has to admit, she misses talking to them and seeing them every day, and can't wait to visit the beach with Elle Summer and pay some visits.

Skyler: Is at music camp for a week at Papa Stan and Mama Shani's in Indianapolis. We all miss her here at Braganza very much, but will see her next Tuesday when we head up to Indiana for a visit.

The Dogs: Luna seems excited to have a new baby to mother, Ming is still adjusting, and Stalin has that "been there, done that" look about him. They are great with the baby and give lots of sniffs, and enjoy hanging out near her bassinet.

Elle Summer: Is busy eating every 2 - 3 hours, and sleeping in between. At night, she is sleeping 3 - 4 hours at a time, so it hasn't been too hard on mom and dad. She's also been out and about with mom during the day, and likes riding in the car. She doesn't seem to mind the Miami heat at all. Naps during the day are in the bouncer, the swing, the bassinet, or of course her favorite--while snuggling in someone's arms.
